In Crystal Clear, researchers at UAntwerp explain what they do in the easiest way possible. 

 

If you put metal in salty water, you are asking for it to rust. This is why windmills at sea have rustfree paint. But even then they have to be checked for traces of rust. This is dangerous, time consuming and expensive. Thomas De Kerf, PhD Student in Applied Engineering, explains how robots and drones can help during this risky endeavor.
